द्राक्षा म्लानमुखी जाता
शर्करा चाश्मतां गता ।
सुभाषितरसस्याग्रे
सुधा भीता दिवं गता ।।
सुभाषितरसाच्या गोडव्यापुढे लाजेने द्राक्षे कोमेजून गेली , साखर थिजून खडीसाखर झाली आणि अमृत थेट स्वर्गात परत गेले .
The essence ( rasa) of a subhashita is so sweet that grapes felt ashamed and became crestfallen. The sweeter sugar lost its fluidity and became hard and the sweetest nectar pulled itself back to heaven.
