Subhashitam - 27

साधुजनयोपकृतिः कलिता भाति हि शिलालिपि समाना ।
जलविलिखित लिपि तुल्या सन् रचिता सा विशुष्क हृदयाय ॥

Meaning:
The help done to a noble person will be like writing on the rock. But the help done to a heartless person will be like writing on the surface of water.
