वसुदेवसुतं देवं कंसचाणूरमर्दनम् ।Meaning:
देवकीपरमानन्दं कृष्णं वन्दे जगद्गुरुम् ॥
I salute the great Lord Krishna, the preceptor of the worlds, the beloved son of Devaki and Vasudeva and the suppressor of Kamsa and ChAnoora.
