धरारोहणन्यायः
In proof of a guilty or non-guilty, one who swears is placed upon a pan of a balance reciting some mantras. If the person becomes heavier he is supposed to be non-guilty, if equal or less he is considered as guilty. This maxim is used in ascertaining guilty or non-guilty of persons.
