न हि वरविघतयकन्योद्वहैति न्यायः
A man gives his daughter in marriage not for bringing about the end of the son-in-law but that they may live in happiness and comfort to a good old age. It signifies that happinesss and not sorrow is the end and aim of life of everyone.
