श्लोकः
अभ्यासयोगयुक्तेन चेतसा नान्यगामिना।
परमं पुरुषं दिव्यं याति पार्थानुचिन्तयन्।।८-८।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
अभ्यास-योग-युक्तेन चेतसा न अन्य-गामिना।
परमम् पुरुषम् दिव्यम् याति पार्थ अनुचिन्तयन्।।८-८।।
श्लोकार्थः
हे पार्थ! अभ्यास-योग-युक्तेन न अन्य-गामिना चेतसा
अनुचिन्तयन्, दिव्यम् परमम् पुरुषम् याति।
शब्दार्थः
8.8. अभ्यास-योग=by practice युक्तेन=being engaged in meditation चेतसा=by the mind and intelligence न अन्य-गामिना=without their being deviated परमम्=the Supreme पुरुषम्=Personality of Godheadदिव्यम्=transcendental याति=one achieves पार्थ=O son of Pritha अनुचिन्तयन्=constantly thinking of
Meaning
8.8: He, who is steady in constant practice of meditation on the Supreme Person with the mind not distracted otherwise and always thinking of Me, reaches the Divine Me.
