श्लोकः
जरामरणमोक्षाय मामश्रित्य यतन्ति ये।
ते ब्रह्म तद्विदुः कृत्स्नमध्यात्मं कर्म चाखिलम्।।७-२९।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
जरा-मरण-मोक्षाय माम् आश्रित्य यतन्ति ये।
ते ब्रह्म तत् विदुः कृत्स्नम् अध्यात्मम् कर्म च अखिलम्।।७-२९।।
श्लोकार्थः
ये माम् आश्चरित्य जरा-मरण-मोक्षाय यतन्ति, ते तत् ब्रह्म,
कृत्स्नम् अध्यात्मम्, अखिलम् कर्म च विदुः।
शब्दार्थः
7.29. जरा=from old age मरण=and death मोक्षाय=for the purpose of liberation माम्=me आश्रित्य=taking shelter of यतन्ति=endeavor ये=all those who ते=such persons ब्रह्म=Brahman तत्=actually thatविदुः=they know कृत्स्नम्=everything अध्यात्मम्=transcendental कर्म=activities च=also अखिलम्=entirely
Meaning
7.29: All those people, seeking liberation from old age and death, take refuge in Me and know Brahman, the Supreme Self (Atman), and karma in its entirety.
