अन्तवत् तु फलम् तेषाम् तत् भवति अल्प-मेधसाम्।
देवान् देव-यजः यान्ति मत् भक्तः यान्ति माम् अपि।।७-२३।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
अन्तवत् तु फलम् तेषाम् तत् भवति अल्प-मेधसाम्।
देवान् देव-यजः यान्ति मत् भक्ताः यान्ति माम् अपि।।७-२३।।
श्लोकार्थः
तेषाम् अल्प-मेधसाम् तत् फलम् तु अन्तवत् भवति;
देव-यजः देवान् यान्ति, मत् भक्ताः अपि माम् यान्ति।
शब्दार्थः
7.23 अन्तवत्=perishable तु=but फलम्=fruit तेषाम्=their तत्=that भवति=becomes अल्प-मेधसाम्=of those of small intelligence देवान्=to the demigods देव-यजः=the worshipers of the demogods यान्ति=go मत्=myभक्ताः=devotees यान्ति=go माम्=to me अपि=also
Meaning
7.23: Finite and limited is the fruit gained by these men of small intelligence (small minds). The worshippers of gods go to those gods, but my devotees come to Me.
