श्लोकः
अपि चेदसि पापेभ्यः सर्वेभ्यः पापकृत्तमः।
सर्वं ज्ञानप्लवेनैव वृजिनं सन्तरिष्यसि।।४-३६।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
अपि चेत् असि पापेभ्यः सर्वेभ्यः पाप-कृत्तमः।
सर्वम् ज्ञान-प्लवेन एव वृजिनम् सन्तरिष्यसि।।४-३६।।
श्लोकार्थः
(त्वं) सर्वेभ्यः पापेभ्यः अपि पाप-कृत्तमः असि चेत् सर्वम्
वृजिनम् ज्ञान-प्लवेन एव सन्तरिष्यसि
शब्दार्थः
4.36 अपि=even चेत्=if असि=you are पापेभ्यः=of sinners सर्वेभ्यः=of all पाप-कृत्तमः=the greatest sinner सर्वम्=all such sinful reactions ज्ञान-प्लवेन=by the boat of transcendental knowledge एव=certainlyवृजिनम्=the ocean of miseries सन्तरिष्यसि=you will cross completely
Meaning
4.36: Even if you are the greatest or the worst sinner of all sinners, you will certainly cross over sins or wickedness by the boat of knowledge or wisdom.
