श्लोकः
इन्द्रियाणां हि चरतां यन्मनोऽनुविधीयते।
तदस्य हरति प्रज्ञां वायुर्नावमिवाम्भसि।।२-६७।।
सन्धि विग्रहः
इन्द्रियाणाम् हि चरताम् यत् मनः अनुविधीयते।
तत् अस्य हरति प्रज्ञाम् वायुः नावम् इव अम्भसि।।२-६७।।
श्लोकार्थः
चरताम् इन्द्रियाणाम् हि यत् मनः अनुविधीयते, तत् अस्य
प्रज्ञाम् अम्भसि हरति वायुः नावम् इव।
शब्दार्थः
2.67 इन्द्रियाणाम्=of these senses हि=certainly चरताम्=while roaming यत्=with which मनः=the mindअनुविधीयते=becomes constantly engaged तत्=that अस्य=his हरति=takes away प्रज्ञाम्=intelligenceवायुः=wind नावम्=a boat इव=like अम्भसि=on the water
Meaning
2.67: As the wind sweeps away the boat in the water, the mind wandering among the senses succumbs to the senses, which sweep away the wisdom.
